Join us in what Britain's Telegraph stated might be the greatest destination in the world for cycling. Click here to read their article. This is the must visit place for cyclists of all levels from the recreational Sunday rider through to Tour de France champions who regularly come here to train. And lets not forget the beaches, historical sites, stunning architecture, magnificent mountains, shopping, awesome food and local wine. See you in 2018 to tick this one off your bucket list.

PROGRAM

The program will be case orientated and highly interactive. Delegates will be encouraged to bring along interesting and relevant cases for discussion. Clinical updates will be alternated with an exciting series of talks relevant Sports Medicine and in particular the cycling environment that we will be exploring. 

REGISTER

Early bookings are recommended as we anticipate this will be a very popular trip. Initial numbers are restricted to 30 delegates although there may be options to increase the numbers slightly depending on demand. 

MEET OUR SPEAKERS

Geoff Ramin

Geoff is currently the Chief Medical Officer of Allianz Worldwide Partners (Asia-Pacific region). He has over 25 years of extensive clinical experience and knowledge  in specialist emergency medicine, intensive care, prehospital care, aviation medicine, aeromedical retrieval, wilderness and altitude medicine. Geoff has extensive experience in both the coordination of aeromedical evacuation services and the conduct of medical repatriation and retrieval.

Dr Drew Richardson

Drew is the NRMA-ACT Road Safety Trust Chair of Road Trauma and Emergency Medicine at the Australian National University Medical School. His clinical position is Senior Staff Specialist in Emergency Medicine at The Canberra Hospital.

Dr Andrew Waring

Andrew is and Emergency Physician currently working at Fiona Stanley Hospital.

He has spent 20 years in ED at Fremantle and in Victoria.

Andrew has also been working in Hyperbaric medicine since 1998.

You will often find Andrew on his bike or the golf course!!

Trish Hogan

Trish has been in the health industry for over 40 years and has held positions in senior management in public and private health in South Australia, The Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales and Queensland.

Her experience in the health industry spans hospital and community care administration, education and clinical practice. Trish is a “Doctor of the University” at Griffith University and is currently CEO of 4 private health facilities on the Gold Coast.
